An existing customer of Oxford Marquees Ltd, who hired a frame marquee on many occasions, had a conversation with one of the site supervisors during a marquee delivery.
The team suggested that a purpose-built canopy cover would provide better coverage of the sunken rear patio area of their house in central Oxford and Evolution Marquees provided the answer.
Site meeting, planning & quotation stage:
A site meeting was arranged to take accurate dimensions of the proposed bespoke semi-permanent frame & roof covering with doorway to the sunken patio area. The material for the covers, fittings to link the canopy with the building were both discussed and options were explored during this phase.
From the information gathered we prepared and sent a quotation for the 5m x 5m apex ridged white 650gms PVC cover on an aluminium frame. The structure as fitted with purpose-built wall brackets, and a zipped PVC doorway to weather proof the entrance from the steps back up to the main garden.
Delivery & Installation:
Manufacturing of the aluminium roof frame, wall brackets and White PVC roof cover with doorway took place shortly after acceptance of the quotation and followed by delivery and initial installation. Since then the Oxford Marquees team have provided a regular removal service for the equipment for the summer months and refitted the unit as required by the client for events during the wetter winter months.
